The Foundations of Reading Test has been updated. This new version of the test, test code 190, includes all content related to the prior version (test code 090) plus the addition of science of reading components. Both tests are accepted for Elementary Education (K–6) and Exceptional Children: General Curriculum (K–12) in-state and out-of-state initial licensure applicants. Required passing scores are found on each test's information page.
Online proctoring is available for this test. You may test remotely, including from home.

Tests may include test questions that are being evaluated for future administrations and that do not affect a candidate's score.
When taking this test in an online-proctored appointment, examinees will receive a 15-minute break after the multiple-choice section and before the open-response section. Note that after this break you will begin the open-response assignments and you will no longer have access to the multiple-choice questions.
